WBJEE
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is a popular engineering exam of the country taken by more than 2 lakh candidates every year. the WBJEE is considered to be more of a test evaluating the speed of person to solve problems rather than intellectual depth.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Eligibility criteria for appearing in the WBJEE-2017:
1. a) Citizenship: Applicant must be a citizen of India.
2. b) Age Restriction:
(i) The lower age limit is 17 (seventeen) years as on 31.12.2017. There is no upper age limit in appearing in the WBJEE-2017. A candidate born on or after 01.01.2000 is not eligible to appear in the WBJEE-2017.
(ii) However, for admission to the degree level Marine Engineering Course The lower age limit is 17 (seventeen) years as on 31.12.2017 and the upper age limit is 25 Years as on 31.12.2017.
For appearing in the WBJEE-2017 both Paper-I and Paper-II (for enlistment in the Merit Rank List-I i.e. the GMR):
a) Candidate must have passed the Qualifying Examination i.e. the ‘10+2’ examination with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular class mode.
b) Must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above three subjects taken together.
c) Must have passed English in the ‘10+2’ examination with at least 30% marks.
d) The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government concerned.
For appearing in the WBJEE-2017 only in Paper-II (For enlistment in the Merit Rank List- II i.e. the PMR):
a) Candidate must have passed ‘10+2’ examination with Physics and Chemistry along with any one of Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular class mode.
b) Must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above three subjects taken together.
c) Must have passed English in the ‘10+2’ examination with at least 30% marks.
d) The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government concerned.
PAPER STRUCTURE

The MHT-CET2017 will consist of three question papers. Each paper is of 100 marks.

There is no choice among the questions, i.e. all questions have to be answered.

The candidate seeking admission to Engineering and Technology degree courses it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for both Paper I and Paper II.

The candidate seeking admission to Pharmacy/ Pharm. D degree course it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Paper II as well as in Paper-I and/or Paper-III.

There will be three papers of one and half hours each.
