NCHMCT

National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) conducts a Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) each year to offer admissions to aspirants in hospitality and hotel administration programmes. By clearing NCHMCT JEE 2017, candidates can secure admissions in 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 19 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, one Public Sector Undertaking and 14 Private Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated with NCHMCT.

IMPORTANT DATES

Mode of Exam: The exam will be held through offline mode (paper-and-pencil) conducted in English and Hindi.
Duration: The exam duration will be 3 hours (Three hours).
No. of Questions: The question paper will be composed of 200 Multiple Choice and Reason-Assertion type questions.
Marking Scheme: For each correct response 1 mark will be given and 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect response.

PAPER STRUCTURE

A pass 10+2 from recognized Central/State Board in any stream with English as one of the main subjects.
The appearing candidates may also apply but such candidates have to submit the proof of passing the qualifying examination latest by 30.09.2017.
The maximum age limit for GEN/OBC/PH candidates is 22 years as on 01.07.2017.
For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2017.
