CLAT

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a non-statutory body created under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the convenience of the students seeking admission to various National Law Universities in the country. 

IMPORTANT DATES
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
  • Age Limit: Candidate must be less than 20 years old as on 1st July 2017 for General

                          22 years old in case of SC/ST. 

  • Academic Qualification: The minimum mark required in the 12th board examination for appearing in CLAT 2017 is 45% for General and OBC candidates, SC and ST candidates is 40%.

PAPER STRUCTURE
  • Mode of Exam: The exam will be held through online mode (computer based test). conducted only in                             English.

  • Duration: The exam duration will be 2 hours (Two hours).

  • No. of Questions: The question paper will be composed of 200 Multiple Choice and Reason-Assertion type questions.

  • Marking Scheme: For each correct response 1 mark will be given and 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect response.
